From June 23–27, 2025, the ENFASYS consortium gathered in Brussels, Belgium, for a multi-day meeting focused on aligning the project’s policy and business strategies for the transition of European agriculture toward sustainability.
The Association of Balkan Eco-Innovation (ABE) is proud to be part of the ENFASYS team, leading the Communication and Dissemination work package and coordinating the national use case in Serbia, which explores regenerative agriculture models in local farming systems.

Connecting science, policy, and practice
Throughout the week, consortium members:
- Participated in interactive workshops aimed at bridging science and policy, helping shape pathways for transforming European farming systems
- Discussed all 10 national case studies, including the Serbian case focused on implementing regenerative agriculture practices
- Reviewed potential strategies for maximizing the project’s impact on EU agricultural policy and rural development
- Shared ideas on sustainable business models that can support farmers through the transition
