What is Built4People?
Built4People (B4P) is a strategic partnership between the European Commission, ECTP (European Construction Technology Platform), and the World Green Building Council. It aims to invest over €800 million in research and innovation to transform the built environment through climate-friendly, high-performing solutions.
As a part of the newly formed B4P Innovation Clusters (B4PICs), ABE joins a growing network working to scale up sustainable construction technologies, business models, and services.
What This Means for ABE
By becoming a B4P Innovation Cluster, ABE will:
- Collaborate with top European innovation networks in the green building sector
- Gain access to research, funding, and technical support for sustainable construction
- Help shape policies that align with the EU Green Deal and New European Bauhaus
- Drive regional innovation in Serbia and the Western Balkans
We are grateful to the NEBULA project and Serbia Green Building Council (Serbia GBC) for their support in this process, and we look forward to using this new position to strengthen regional impact, cross-border partnerships, and real-world results.
