The Association of Balkan Eco-Innovation

Building better with DATAWiSE project

The Association of Balkan Eco-Innovation (ABE) recently participated in a successful plenary meeting in Turin, where the DATAWiSE project team gathered to share the project progress. The event, hosted by the LINKS Foundation, brought together experts from across Europe to assess progress and align plans for the next phase of this innovative initiative.

During the meeting, partners reviewed each work package, discussed data collected from pilot sites, and explored the development of prescriptive maintenance tools. The sessions offered valuable insights into how DATAWiSE can further improve energy efficiency and enhance the overall comfort and sustainability of buildings.

DATAWiSE aims to transform building management by developing and testing two advanced digital tools: the Data-driven Building Performance Management (DBPM) toolkit and the AI-enhanced Lifecycle Data-driven Decision Support (LD2S) toolkit. These solutions integrate BIM data and advanced analytics to optimize energy use, reduce operational costs, and improve occupant experience, while ensuring data quality, privacy, and interoperability through a scalable data architecture.

ABE is leading Work package 13 and 14, focused on communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities. The plenary meeting in Turin provided an excellent opportunity to coordinate outreach efforts, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaboration among all project partners.
