ABE is a non-profit organization promoting sustainable development and innovation. What does that mean? We support people with great ideas and extraordinary drive. We connect them with a network of researchers, funding opportunities, citizen and industry groups, public bodies, and others.

We recognise that the region has significant know-how and creativity to address complex social, environmental and economic problems. Our vision is to facilitate & support structured, fair and targeted collaboration between different stakeholders to drive the improvement and innovation.

Our Networks

Our networks are structured initiatives that bring together motivated partners to work towards a greener and more prosperous future in the Balkans region. Each network focuses on a specific sector and its challenges, enhancing targeted solutions.

They provide partners access to innovative ideas, specialized knowledge, and new business opportunities. By promoting collaboration, these networks accelerate the development and real-world application of sustainable innovations.

These networks also actively support youth engagement and innovation acceleration by providing young innovators, researchers, and early-stage entrepreneurs with access to mentorship, funding, and technical resources for prototyping and scaling their solutions.
